The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, demons, and dark forces growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to undertake their separate journey, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the actions of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The traitor then cleared his liabilities and escaped to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous location.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in House Halovar could enable the party access locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them few options but to journey toward Timmony in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Viewers can look forward to learning which players will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
